GENTLE– A basic, fundamental yoga class.  Perfect for the beginner or anyone looking for a more gentle approach. This class will get you up and moving but then take you back down for deep stretching. We recommend beginners start here. The slower pace will allow you to learn the poses and their modifications to help meet your needs as you get started. You can stay here as long as you like, or you can move to the more vigorous classes when you feel ready. All levels are welcome.


TEN BUCK BASIC – This is the earliest afternoon class we offer. It is really designed with the teacher in mind, but has been attracting people from all walks, so feel free to join! BASIC is the name of the game, here. You will move slowly through a simple standing sequence. You will start and finish with deep stretching and relaxation. At 45 minutes long, this class is just what you need to get some movement in and get your mind right before heading home for your evening activities! No contract is required for this class, so drop in when you can. The $10 drop-in rate is a deal you can’t pass up!


POWER – This is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. Power Vinyasa yoga incorporates regular sequences that become familiar to students, but incorporates variations to modify, intensify, or challenge the body by altering the pace or duration of poses, and the frequency that they are repeated.  Baron Baptiste describes this class as the perfect blend of sweat and serenity. All levels are welcome as you will be offered opportunities to modify where necessary.


PLAY – This 75 minute class is only offered on Saturday mornings and has become Shauna’s favorite class. It is definitely a POWER class with extra opportunities to play with the balances and inversions we all love to do.  The music is not your typical yoga sound; laughter and chatter are welcome; and requests are taken for asanas you want to learn.  You will leave with a smile ear to ear and a heart ready to welcome Saturday in all of its glory! This class is for intermediate to advanced students.

BARRE – Barre is a low impact, full body workout that takes concepts from ballet, Pilates, and yoga. Small repetitive movements are utilized to work each muscle group to exhaustion with plenty of stretching to go along with it. You can expect to increase strength as well as flexibility in this class. All levels are welcome.

IMPROVE YOUR MOVES – This class will offer opportunities to move in ways to enhance functional movement and body control. Whether attempting to recover movement as a means to improve athletic performance or to increase longevity, this class is for you. Students will make slow, controlled movements that incorporate each joint in an effort to improve the movement patterns that have caused the practitioner tightness and, possibly, pain. Our goal will be to increase range of motion and improve mobility. All levels, genders and ages are welcomed and encouraged. MEN, I expect to see you here!
